Engine Performance
The Mitsubishi Pajero's standard 3.8L 24-valve fuel-injected
V6 engine delivers a massive 149kW of power. There's also
the option of a 3.2L Turbo Direct Injection Diesel (Di-D)
engine, with 121kW of raw power and the back-up of 373Nm of
torque. And while you'll have plenty of grunt for towing and
low-end work, you'll also benefit from the Mitsubishi Pajero's
impressive fuel economy of 9.6L/100km (manual).
'Sports Mode' Automatic
With 'Sports Mode', the Mitsubishi Pajero's transmission
computer monitors the engine speed to prevent potentially
damaging gearshifts, while allowing drivers to manually shift
gears without using a clutch. The advantage is a clutch-free
operation that reduces rev and torque loss. The result - Mitsubishi
Pajero provides the control and flexibility of a manual with
the ease and convenience of an auto.
Multi-Media System
Engineered for superior drive comfort, the Mitsubishi Pajero
Exceed features a sophisticated in-dash Multi-Media system.
This includes sat nav, GPS (off-road mode), DVD, CD, MP3,
TV tuner, plus rear reversing camera and a trip computer.
Back seat passengers can also enjoy their own entertainment
system with a rear full-colour screen and infra-red headphones.
MATT - All Terrain Technology
With Mitsubishi Pajero's MATT system comes the piece of mind
of enhanced safety and driving performance. Multi-Mode Anti-Lock
Braking System, Active Stability Control, Active Traction
Control come standard, while the Super Select II 4WD offers
full-time 4WD with selectable 2WD mode. MATT also includes
Hill Hold Control, which helps stop you from rolling back
or stalling on steep inclines.
Enhanced Cargo Capacity
No matter how awkward the load, you're sure to fit it all
in. Mitsubishi Pajero's intelligent design enables you to
fold the 3rd row seats completely flat into the floor for
uninterrupted rear visibility and maintenance of luggage space.
Or if you'd prefer, remove the 3rd row so you can utilise
even more hidden storage.
Monocoque Body
Integral to Mitsubishi Pajero is a Reinforced
Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) monocoque body with integrated
chassis. A one-piece shell that features a highly rigid cabin,
impact absorbing crushable zones, a lower centre of gravity
and increased driving comfort. This ingenious design ensures
the Mitsubishi Pajero has all the safety of a passenger car,
with the off-road toughness of a true rally champion.
